(Num. 14:18). The result of sin is an eternity separated from the love, grace, and mercy of God in a place of fire called hell. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23). Eternal death in hell is what our sin has earned us, and all who die without Jesus will spend eternity in this terrible place. However, that in not God’s will for your life. He will have all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Tim. 2:3-4); and Jesus is that Truth!
The good news is that God made a way to reconcile the broken relationship between Himself and man through His Son Jesus Christ. God made a way to take our sins away and forgive us through Jesus Christ, His Son. The Bible says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). God sent His only begotten Son Jesus to die for our sins on the cross that we may be restored into a right relationship with God. Jesus paid for our sins with His own precious blood on the cross, so that we can be set free! Because of Jesus’ death on the cross God can forgive us and receive us as sons while still maintaining His justice and righteousness. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me (John 14:6). So without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God; but through Jesus we can be forgiven, set free, and totally transformed. After Jesus died on the cross He rose from the dead on the third day and He is alive today! He is alive and desires a relationship with you. What an awesome thought that the King of kings and Lord of lords loves you so much that He laid down His life for you and wants to have a relationship with you today.
The Bible says that if any man is in Christ he is a new creature (2 Cor. 5:17), God transforms those who receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior as He comes to dwell inside of them. This is called being born again (John 3:3). Although we have all sinned, those who receive Jesus are adopted into God’s family as His sons (John 1:12). Sin separates us from God, but Jesus restores our relationship with God. Sin brings eternal death, but Jesus brings eternal life. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. Therefore, turn from your sins, and turn to Jesus. Choose life not death! Jesus said, Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me (Rev. 3:20). Open the door of your life and of your heart to Jesus Christ, and give yourself totally to Him. He will cleanse you, forgive you, and break every chain in your life.
Trust Jesus today, and fall entirely upon the mercy and grace of God. He will save you from your sins, set you free, and radically transform your life. If you have decided to receive Jesus, spend time with Him every day. Christianity is simply a relationship with Jesus. He is our Lord and we are to obey all of His commandments. Read your Bible every day, and commit in your heart to obey everything Jesus tells you. Also, spend time in prayer talking to Jesus; and find a good church where they preach only the Bible and love Jesus. Get filled with the Holy Ghost, get on fire for Jesus, and be a witness leading others to Him. Jesus is King! Get to know Him more today!
