JT AND KASEY STRONG

– Founders –

JT and Kasey Strong are missionaries to the nation of Kenya. They are the founding directors of Strong Point Children’s Home in Kenya where they care for orphaned children.

God sent both JT and Kasey to Kenya separately before they were ever married. Although, they are from the same rural town in northeast Louisiana and knew one another growing up, God had them on separate paths that finally led them together into His divine purpose for their lives.

After graduating from university Kasey felt the call of God to take the gospel to the nations. Although she was on her way to graduate school, she yielded and gave up her own dreams to follow God’s leading. She then volunteered with a large, worldwide missions organization which assigned her to Kenya. Of all the nations in the world, God sent her where she would eventually be called to live. God was clearly using this time to prepare her for her destiny.

JT also graduated from university and was accepted into law school, but around the same time he was radically saved and called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Shortly afterward, as he was struggling with the call that God had placed on his life, God gave him a vivid dream where he saw himself standing in the most remote bush of Africa. Upon waking up God spoke to him saying “My son, I want to take you on the adventure of a lifetime, but you want to go back for the things of this world.” Through this word, God gave JT grace to forsake all else in pursuit of God’s call. Shortly afterward, God opened a door for him to visit Kenya for the first time. Ever since then he has been working in and visiting Kenya, until he finally moved there full time.

Kasey and JT met for lunch while in America in 2013 and the rest is history. After a short courtship they were married. After being married for about one month they moved to Kenya to fulfill God’s call upon their lives.

They currently live in Western Kenya with their daughter Charlie Anne where they oversee and manage Strong Point Children’s Home. They also work with indigenous pastors, plant churches, and do village evangelism.

Brother JT is a serious student of God’s word and preaches a pure gospel  without compromise. His desire is to see revival, refreshing, and God’s power manifested in the body of Christ around the world.  He also has a passion to see lost souls born again and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Brother JT’s heart and calling is that his speech and preaching not be with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That people’s faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)
